Photographer's Note

The sea in the harbour of Lakki on a quiet Saturday afternoon at the end of September. I was at the quay with the Nautical Club of Leros and the Italo-Hellenic Association of Leros to welcome ten catamarans which had departed from the Marina of Didim, Turkey, for a brief tour of some of the closest greek islands (Patmos, Leros and Kalymnos). All these clubs had collaborated for the 2nd Italo-Hellenic Friendship Race last May.
I took this picture between two of the moored catamarans.

In the workshop a picture of the first and second boats to arrive at the quay of Lakki.

You have done it again. These reflections can be very amusing and beautiful at the same time, also quite mystifying. It's not easy to identify the origins of the mirrored effects, but I think that at least I can see the surrealistic head and neck of a person in the lower part. It is definitely not how I had expected you to look, so this must be someone else :-).

Μοιάζει με έναν πίνακα ζωγραφικής με υγρό υδράργυρο. Ένα 3-διαστάσεων όγκου και είναι πιο ισχυρή. Η έκθεση ήταν πολύ καλή. Θα ήταν δύσκολο να συλλάβει αυτή την όμορφη εικόνα εδώ.

Your second picture is very well with the two catemarans as subject.
The first picture is almost a modern painting, or perhaps a oil slick .
Great composition and framing, outstanding light management, wonderful colours.

Ourania, this is spectacular, as it inhabits a gray area between complete abstraction and still life. It's easy to tell what each object pictured is, but the way it has been warped and shifted by the water ripples breathes new life and meaning into everything. Wonderfully done.

Delicious wriggles and squiggles on the bright reflections, an interesting image and the point of focus is well detailed and I find that the contents through the frame interesting with just enough ditinguishable form for the eye to start to make sense of it. It's the hint of detail intrigues me and makes it special in excellent colors, lighting sharpness and great contrast overall. Well done.

this is a very peculiar composition, you have perfectly well realized the artistic potential of these reflections! The result is amazing.
What I also like is the contrast of the colors, although I would suggest a B&W version too. But it is nevertheless excellent photo work!

La "malattia" per i riflessi continua. E con buon ragione. Ogni riflesso é diverso, un piccolo mondo di geometrie, luce e grafismo. Adoro quei colori blu e gialli. POssiamo capire che si tratta della barca, ma la foto é tutto questo e piú. Complimenti e ti auguro una bella serata.

ormai questi riflessi hanno coinvolto la maggior parte del popolo di TE.
Mi chiedo soltanto chi è il più contagiato! Io sicuramente sono inguaribile. :p
Questo è molto particolare perchè nel suo voler essere astratto, permette di riconoscere i dettagli in esso contenuti.
Vedo anche una figura umana, forse due.
