Photographer's Note

I am coming back to postcards which I have collected on Kos Island. There are several nice spots on the island which are popular for watching sunsets but this was simply taken at the beach closest to our hotel. How is the sunset on Kos Island different from any other sunset? Well, neighbouring islands add unique silhouettes in the distance.

On the horizon you can see the silhouettes of several Greek islands squeezed together. The closest is Pserimos, further a larger Kalymnos and others. Have a look at the map to get the idea. If I would turn to the north east I could see Turkish coast even closer than the island here.
