Marina Harbor by Night Photo

Photographer’s Note

Marina harbor, the extension of a new well developed part of Kalamata located at the south west side of the city near by the main harbor, not more than 5 min driving from the center of the city.

You will find cafes, Greek traditional restaurants, Italian food, near by the harbor and in the area.
Marina is a small paradise in the city.

You may find me there, as I frequently visit the place, after work, for relaxation or weekends, this picture is describing why.

this is a really nice night shot, I love that long exposure effect, it does something wonderful to the light.

Wow Stelios, after gold red daylight, now the dark hour of "your" harbor ... I missed some of your wonderful work, and I actually wanted to close my session for tonight, but this one was too tempting and I did not want to leave without letting a word. I like how the masts reflect on the blue water, and this strange blue is what caught my attention but also the rather cold light coming from the harbor that give a strange cool but fantastic atmosphere. Very well done, excellent. Barbara.

Wow, great shot. The symmetry and the reflections are so nice. The water looks so smooth, and there is very little blur on the boats even with a 30 sec exposure, must've been a very still night. Great capture.

At my first sight, I thought the street lamp as a bright full moon or sun, then I discovered the perfect blur and radiancy around it. Amazing deep blue. Perfect reflections and full symmetry! Elegant framing.

Excellent nightphoto with this lantarn in the upper middle of the photo, creating a nice reflection on the calm watersurface. Combined with the lines of boats, the masts of them creating a nice pattern and also some symmetry, basically. Well..that is really nice! Good colour, I like the border too, all in all an excellent presentation of this photo!

Στέλιο καλησπέρα,
Πολύ καλή η απόδοση της μαρίνας της Καλμάτας με την νυκτερινή σου λήψη.Οι αντανακλάσεις έχουν αποδοθεί εκπληκτικά όπως επίσης και μερικά κότερα.Τα άλλα προφανώς, λόγω του μεγάλου χρόνου της ταχύτητας που είχες βάλει και βοηθούντος και ενός ελαφρού αέρα,είναι λίγο κουνημένα.Το αποτέλεσμα βέβαια είναι εξαιρετικό και απ'ότι σκέφτομαι τώρα, εαν ήταν όλα εντελώς ακούνητα, θα ήταν σαν να ήταν μιά 'στημμένη' θαλασσινή σκηνή.Πολύ καλή.
