Marina RED Hour Photo

Photographer’s Note

Marina harbor, the extension of a new well developed part of Kalamata located at the south west side of the city near by the main harbor, not more than 5 min driving from the center of the city.

You will find cafes, Greek traditional restaurants, Italian food, near by the harbor and in the area.
Marina is a small paradise in the city.

You may find me there, as I frequently visit the place, after work, for relaxation or weekends, this picture is describing why.

A few notes for the shot:

ISO was set to 100.

But I think I prefer your workshop version, this one is a bit too red for me (especially on the left side).

wow, a great shot, stelios! fantastic light and reflections. i agree with your placement of the horizon in the middle. suits the situation (reflections) very well. all in all - great moment beautifully captured. makes want to go back to greece... TFS.

Εξαιρετικης ομορφιας η φωτογραφια σου!Εκτος απο τα υπεροχα χρωματα εχει και το ατου της αναλογιας,της "προσεγμενης" συνθεσης.Φαινεται οτι ολα λειτουργησαν τελεια εδω,κυριως απο πλευρας εμπνευσης.Το αποτελεσμα μαγευτικο...

Θα μπορούσα να σου πω ότι αυτή είναι η καλύτερη φωτογραφία σου που έχω δει μέχρι στιγμής. However... η κριτική μου θα περιοριστεί στα κομμένα κατάρτια που θα τα προτιμούσα ολόκληρα και στο άχρηστο μαύρο κομμάτι αριστερά κάτω στο κάδρο. Κατά τα άλλα τέλεια χρώματα και από τις σπάνιες ίσως φορές που βλέπω τόσο ήρεμα τα νερά αν και σε λιμάνι μέσα.

Στέλιο καλησπέρα,
διάλεξες μια πολύ καλή στιγμή για να αποθανατήσεις την δύση του ηλίου στην μαρίνα της Καλαμάτας.Το κόκκινο αυτό χρώμα και η επεξεργασία του φυσικά είναι όλα τα λεφτά.Οι αντανακλασεις στην ακίνητη θάλασσα κάνουν την σκηνή μαγική.
