Photographer’s Note
Located in mount Parnonas , Chrysafa dates back to the Neolithic era. Today it is decorated by a variety of churches and temples that feature important hagiographies and wall paintings of the Byzantine and post Byzantine era. Chrysafa also features a number of magnificent 19th century mansions, build by the locals after their return from Hydra where the have escaped after "Orlof's situation".

That's a very nice aerial view of this magic place. i like how the village seems too small for our eyes! Very nice colors and depth.

Ωραία σύνθεση, με το χωριό χαμηλά και τα σύννεφα να στεφανώνουν τον Ταϋγετο. Βρε τι μαθαίνει κανείς για την Ελλάδα! Πολύ όμορφη φωτογραφία και (φαίνεται) όμορφο χωριό!
