Taigetos top Photo

Photographer’s Note

A nightshot of mountain Taigetos under full fun. I was lucky to have a full moon and a windy night with clouds. The exposure is 5 minutes with a 300=450 zoom lens. An important problem is the heat of the sensor that made my photo red at the left uperr corner.

Great shot. in some mountain parts it look like there is some "ghosts" but only when looking deeply in details.The light on cloudes is just wonderful and impact of long exposure really creates the dynamic restitution.

Hello Sotirios:
Low-light pictures are always difficult to achieve. This one here is a great night shot of the mountain tops with the clouds passing by, and depicted like if they were fast moving.
What ISO did you use to shot this picture? The star trails are evidence of a long-exposure photograph, and the bluish cast atop the mountains, of a moon-lit sky.
I suspect you used a tripod or a bean bag, or am I wrong?

I love this one, the exposure is great, it gives an unreal atmosphere with this light on the clouds in mouvement in the middle of the dark night. You've had a very good idea !!!
