Mystras Revisited Photo

Photographer’s Note

I thought this is a good photo to "celebrate" my 300th photo in Trekearth! It includes olive trees and "traces" of the Byzantine era both characterizing Greece. This part of Mystras has already been presented by me in another picture; I love this view!!!

Poly oraia katagrafi aftou tou ekpliktikou kai poly simantikou apo apopsi istorias, merous! Oraio kadro kai synthesi, pairnoume mia pragmatika poly kali idea tis topothesias! Poly kalos kai o fotismos! Sygxaritiria!

Αλλοτινές μου εποχές, αλλοτινοί μου χρόνοι …
Ακούγεται …. στον αέρα!

Ο Μυστράς, η πολιτεία της σιωπής, είναι άρρηκτα συνδεδεμένος με την Κωνσταντινούπολη, χάρη στην αρχιτεκτονική του αλλά και στον Κωνσταντίνο Παλαιολόγο.
Το σημείο λήψης της φωτογραφίας σου είναι παρεμφερές της προηγούμενης του 2007, την ίδια εποχή. Εδώ έχουμε ευρεία γωνία και προοπτική το απόγειο της πολιτείας, τα τείχη του κάστρου μα και τις πανέμορφες εκκλησίες του.

Πώς να μην σ’ αρέσει η θέα αυτή, πώς να μην σε συνεπάρει!

….κι εγώ κρατώ κλαδί ελιάς
κι εσύ να κλαις σαν με κοιτάς….

Hi Stella,

Congratulations on your 300th post, a veritable classic. Like a colossal layer cake, there are the olive trees in the foreground, then three levels of sprawling architectural gems. It is indeed a superb view.
