Photographer’s Note

Memories..Good..Bad..They are somewhere there..In our mind..With every little opportunity you give them they overflow your mind..And when they go..They leave you with a feeling of melancholy and loneliness..A form of solitude..Maybe..But who can really live without them..?

This is the first of the three days off I had..Not good weather with a weird foggy-smoky effect in the atmosphere..But still calm and warm enough for everyone to go out with only a t-shirt..And maybe go for a walk into the old town of Monemvasia..

Monemvasia is like a huge rock in the sea which is connected to the mainland with only a bridge..It's name means more or less "with only one door" and that is partly right..For the ones who know there is another little door just under the walls of the city that leads to the sea level and it is called "portello"..Monemvasia hosts a fortified city in its walls and a second huge fortified zone on the top of it's rock..The photo is taken from the top of the second fortified zone (Acropolis) and from 300 higher than the sea level..The view is just pure magic..When the weather is clear you can see even the Greek isles around,far on the horizon..

Hi my friend Nikos,

This is a verry nice POV, I like the composition with the wall in the foreground and the ocean far below. I allso like the lithting and the effect of the clouds.

Bonita photo, gosto do suporte de cor em primeiro plano, e do aspecto enevoado distante, parece um 2x1, gosto do efeito da luz no céu, parece que passaste uma borracha :-)
É uma foto com um ar distante...

Nice view and composition. The saturated colours looks nice in the photo and also you've done a nice composition.
