Photographer’s Note

Another shot of Gytheio, small seaport in southern Peloponnesus, taken in the morning, before the storm… As suggested Dominic for the previous photo, this photo was taken from the little island called "Kranai", connected with the mainland by a short dam.

About the shot
Adjustments in RAW, correction of perspective, selection of the foreground and contrast and light adjustments (it was in the shadow).

En suivant les oies, une autre vue de Gytheio, petit port de mer au sud du Péloponnèse, prise le matin, avant la tempête… Comme l’a remarqué Dominic pour la photo précédente, elle a été prise de la petite île nommée Kranai, connectée avec le continent par une courte digue.

A propos de la photo
Réglages en RAW, correction de perspective, sélection de l’avant plan et réglages de lumières et contrastes (il était dans l’ombre).

je ne sais pas si c'est l'arbre mais le POV me semble meilleur que le précédent , la limiere est tres belle et le contraste plutot bon

Hi Catherine,

excellent photo! The light is managed so well, it screams of magnificent atmosphere of that day, perfectly illuminates the small yet so picturesque seaport and also makes room for two parading geese in foreground. Well, me comming from such a wonderful town, I would be marching so proud too. :)))

Quel effet ce ciel, ces teinte, merveilleux, la lumière donne un aspect mystérieux avec l'éclairage sur le maison, les animaux en premie rplan, grandiose.

j'ai choisi une image pleine de chaleur pour venir te faire un petit coucou et qui me donne vraiment envie de refaire un tour dans ce superbe pays. cette ambiance pre-orageuse donne une force à ton image, et ces deux oies semblent vouloir poser absolument sur ta composition. tres belle lumière.
