Gytheio in the morning, before the storm…
Gytheio (Greek, Modern: Γύθειο, Ancient/Katharevousa: Γύθειον) (Meaning: Land of the Gods), also Gythio, Githeio, Githio, Gytheion or Yithion is a town in the prefecture of Laconia in Greece, long known as the seaport of Sparta some 40 km away. Gytheio used to be an important port for many centuries until it was destroyed by an earthquake in 375 AD. Today it is the largest and most important town in Mani. (More on Wikipedia)

Gytheio (en grec moderne Γύθειο), transcrite également Gythio, Githeio ou Githio est une ville de Grèce située dans le sud du Péloponnèse dans la préfecture de Laconie. Elle fut longtemps le port de Sparte, située à 40 km au nord.
Gytheio était un important port durant des siècles avant sa destruction par un tremblement de terre en 375 av.J.C. C'est la plus importante ville de la péninsule du Magne.

Mes compliments, tu as cueilli une lumière, une ambiance superbes, dramatique et je dirais onirique. Comme si le temps était suspendu. J'aime beaucoup la simplicité du décor, sans apprêts et les tonalités de toute beauté, le tout géré avec subtilité. Bravo !

The lighting here is amazing.....although not bright (obviously), it does seem to have a strenght about it....enough to light up the walls of the buildings, but not enough to fight the approaching storm. Very good detail and natural compo. Very nicely done.

c'est vraiment les ambiances que j'aime photographier, malheureusement, il faut souvent voyages pour assister à une telle scène, rare en Belgique.
Des lumières fantastiques avec des contrastes très forts.
J'aime cette lumière qui 'sort' des façades.

La lumiere orageuse suffit pout transformer ce coin ordinaire en un endroit spectaculaire, peut etre pouvais tu pousser encore un peu les hautes lumieres.
