Ntourntouvana, Penteleia term of the ancients, is a small mountain that forms a fairly high ridge with two nearby peaks, Ntourntouvana (2109m.) and Triantafilia - Rose (2078m.), suckers of Helmos associated with this on the famous saddle of the Hunter . The main villages here are Kalyvia and Fonias. These two neighboring villages are very near to the site of ancient Feneos. From Kalyvia the forest road to the saddle of hunter falls back to Planitero. At some point near the road is the precipice of Feneos, a natural sinkhole connected with the atrocities of the civil war. From Kalyvia also one road climbs the saddle of Ai-Lias to Likouria. The saddle is the southern limits of Ntourntouvana.

Hello Giorgos,
what a beautiful landscape you managed to catch! I like the black framing of the branches as well as the whole very well proportioned composition. Colors are superb and the reflection od the snow covered peak on the water is very attention capturing.

Τι ομορφιά είναι ετούτη, βρε αδελφέ!

Πόσο υπερήφανοι πρέπει να είμαστε που ζούμε σε αυτό τον τόπο και πόσο δυστυχείς για την κάκιστη διαχείρισή του.
Αν οι ηγήτορες ήταν άλλου επιπέδου θα ζούσαμε με περισσότερη ελπίδα για τον μέλλον το δικό μας και των παιδιών μας. Παντού εκπτώσεις και μόνο εκπτώσεις!

Ας είναι τουλάχιστον οι εικόνες μας «ακριβές»!
