Tripoli Fields, a photo from Arkadia, Peloponnesus

Photographer's Note

Tripoli is the capital of Arkadia (Peloponessus, Greece).
The highway going from Astros to Tripoli is offering beautiful landascapes and countryside sceneries all year round where all four seasons are present with their distinguished beauty.
Endless fields freshly seeded waiting for the rain to do the magic, trees planted in a symmetrical and immaculate line waiting for the sun to touch their branches so they can flourish.
Spring is right around the corner.

Hello Eleni,
Amazing perspective effect with these endless fields, stretching out to the horizon with the distant mountain range in the back. Gives a really good depth to the picture. The various textures and coloured layers are great, making for a very appealing composition. Nicely done.

A beautiful landscape very simple but so effective with a stunning layered composition with the hills as backdrop which work so very well. The broad plains and diagonal bands of contrasting browns and green have added a great impact to the overall shot with lovely touches of yellow. A nice capture, Congrats

I was not aware that there is Tripoli in Greece( one in Lebanon, another in Libya).
A fine DOF and clear image collected, on simple but beautiful field scenery.
Green and yellow mingle with brown and the blue sky aloft in great harmony.

Ciao Eleni,
quella di oggi è molto bella e nello stesso tempo ricca di poesia perchè si vorrebbe stare in questo luogo ad ammirare gli splendidi colori di questa terra.
Mi piace molto il contrasto tra la terra bruna che taglia l'intera composizione e l'erba fiorita che occupa la parte inferiore del fotogramma. SE poi a complemento ci mettiamo le colline boscose che si elevano verso il cielo a perdita d'occhio penso che hai raggiunto un ottimo risultato per farci sognare.
Precise anche le note, come tuo solito.

This field located in a dale has long different stripes of tonalities as the ploughed soil stands out fom the grassed ones. These flowers are very usual seen everywhere. Indeed each flower is so small that for photography should be better to use a lens. This yellow remembers us the sunny pleasant days of mellowed sun. Farther away the dismayed clump of fruit trees show us a beautiful concentration. Place so quiet and why not romantic. Very fertile land at least in this part of Greece! Warm regards. Tomi

It's nice to see how you picture are getting
better in a short time. You use more and
better the spaces in the pictures and with
that you have more control about and makes
the picture also more calmness.
This with the very good point of view
creates a lots of diagonal lines and layers

this is very beautifully layered composition. The brown patches contrast lovely with the lush green ones and the trees add some interest in the background. Very elegant and subtle composition and well given colors.
