Excellent panoramic view about these nice area.
We get a very width image of these nice mountains in background.

Hello Chris,
We get here a very deep image of this beautiful valley from an effective point of view. It's a nice composition, but somehow there is something wrong with the colours, the light doesn't look natural. I tried a workshop with some colour correction to get rid of some of the yellow and red and brighten up the overall image. Let me know what you think.

questa che proponi agli amici di TE è una rappresentazione abbastanza insolita della Grecia che siamo abituati a vedere con le sue case bianche di calce e l'azzurro intenso del mare, ma non per questo meno bella.
Anche nella tua c'è un paesaggio maestoso nel quale domina il colore intenso della terra. La composizione è buona, così come è bello il soggetto.
Unica pecca una dominante di colore che si nota essenzialmente nel cielo nel quale le nuvole assumono una colorazione poco realistica e si ripercuote, anche se in misura minore sull'intero paesaggio.

Kalimera Chris,
From a high place on a mountain, you managed to show a beautiful lay valley at you feet.
Checkered fields and road crosses, and leads the sight as far as the high mountains ridge.
There is slight red tone in excess - but not a grand issue.
The location is wonderful, I guess diff. colors can be photograph on diff. hour of a day.

η υπερυψωμένη οπτική γωνία προσφέρει ένα εκπληκτικό πανόραμα του κάμπου και των βουνών που τον περιβάλλουν. Το βάθος και η καταγραφή των λεπτομερειών είναι πολύ εντυπωσιακά και πραγματικά απορροφούν τον θεατή. Η χρωματική χρειά είναι ασυνήθιστη και δημιουργεί μαι ατμόσφαιρα δραματική. Μου αρέσει πολύ το πώς ισορρόπησες τη σύνθεση. Συγχαρητήρια και ευχαριστώ!

Hello Chris,

You really have chosen a fine viewpoint to capture this shot. The roads snake through the vally and it is so easy to see where human habitations have affected the landscape. By contrast, the mountains are rugged and forbidding.

I do have to agree with Christian about the colours. Somehow they are wrong from the light. The w/s addresses the problem, for me.

This is quite a view you got here. Superb wide vista over the Peleponnes, a region I have driven trough so often, as my parents have emigrated to Monemvasia some 18 years ago.
But what happend to the colors here? They seem to be a bit orange. I think Chrislo's version works better. It is still a stunningly beautiful view.

Hi Chris,

Although the Workshop photo displays more natural colors, I think I actually prefer the posted version. Because of the change in tones, it takes on a somewhat antique appearance, something from maybe 20+ years ago...and I do really like how it altered the color in the sky, giving that "fiery" doom. :)Great perspective looking out over the valley, and well composed to bring balance to both sides of the frame. Very nicely done. Have a great day.

I like the warm cold colour contrast between the orange tinted skies and the blue hued mountains in the upper part of this image. Good sharpness and a magnificent view from a superb high vantage point. The fg spur at right adds depth. Tfs!
