Photographer’s Note

Making a mini cruise in Patraikos Golf,with this
wooden hull,one young boy passed the rope that prohibited the access in the prow enjoying the course of the boat and naturally the splendid sunset.
The ship was moved and as you understand the management of the stabilization of the camera and the law lighting conditions, made the shot very difficult.

Κάνοντας μια μίνι κρουαζιέρα στον Πατραικό Κόλπο,με αυτό
το ξύλινο σκαρί,ένας νεαρός πέρασε το σχοινί που απαγόρευε την προσπέλαση στη πλώρη απολαμβάνοντας την ρότα του πλοίου και φυσικά το υπέροχο δειλινό.
Το πλοίο βρισκόταν σε κίνηση και όπως καταλαβαίνετε η σταθερότητα της μηχανής και οι χαμηλές συνθήκες φωτισμού,έκαναν την φωτογράφηση πολύ δύσκολη.

A splendid sunset, very exciting with this light and these so dramatic tones, and good graphical effect with the child in the prow of the beautiful illuminated sailboat, which I remember of your previous post.
The result is magnificent, with a great beauty and an almost unreal luminosity.

and thank you. Yes, slowly I'm returning to TE pages and making time to review all new since my absence. Many wonderful captures in your gallery but I like this one particulary. Somehow dreamy moment, carefree boy embracing last moments of light with the wind in his hair. Light is quite dramatic and powerful, stressed lines give great accent and contrast to wonderful redish atmosphere...it feels somehow unreal and just because of that it has that dreamy effect.

"Thunderbolt and lightning, very very frightening me" (from Queen) - but not for this courageous young boy ;-)

The effect is fantastic, Danos. In the thumbnails I thought it was a thunderbolt from a storm in the sky. It's a bit dark but that only makes the effect stronger and problably a more natural mood. Excellent lines framing the scene. Well done for the capture of this future captain Hook ;-)

I have returned to TE after a few weeks without my PC. I see you have been posting some excellent shots - this one is very eye-catching. Because the atmosphere is dream-like and mysterious, the blurring caused by the movement of the boat is not a problem.
The blue, purple and orange colours are subtle and unusual - and the streak of blue light adds a fantastic effect.

I like the effect of the exposure at this evening hour to show the action shot. It is difficult to use tripod for such a shot. Shutter of 1/45 is still able to show the boy nicely. tfs

Γειάσου Δάνο, πολύ ωραία σύνθεση με τον μικρό-μεγάλο καπετάνιο σε ένα πολύ καλό φως.
Σκέφτομαι ότι η γραμμή η φωσφοριζέ μπροστά από τον κάπταιν κουκ θα ήταν καλύτερα να μην υπήρχε, αλλά τι να κάνεις που υπήρχε.
Γενικά το αποτέλεσμα σε αυτές τις φωτιστικές συνθήκες είναι πολύ καλό.

Since the general level, I thought seeing a child with a thunderbolt. But I see that it is not.

It takes a dynamic, and with good exposure to achieve a good definition in the shadows. Great frame, proper posture on the part of the child to spell a great moment.

a brave boy taken by a brave photographer. (Hopefully both of them can swim well.) Without the blue light the photo would be dreamy and romantic but with the note and the light it semms to be rather a kind of challenge.

I can't help it but the colour scale on this image reminds me on young Luke Skywalker and his paleblue light sabre before it was digitaly remastered.

Otherwise good composed and well balanced shot.
