After posting the photo about Pyrgi Thermi, I realized that a square format would be more appropriate, specially to show the reflections. I decide to Repost the photo. You can see the first horizontal post here. Many thanks to the TE friends who made comments of the first post.

Pyrgi Thermi is a village 15km away from the town of Mytilene, at the eastern costs of the island.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the region of Thermi was popular for its luxurious hotel "Sarlitza Palace", which was build of the plans of French architects. For about 30 years, it received great recognition, attracting visitors and celebrities from all over the world. Today, it has decline and only the hot baths are in function. Thermi has been the name of the area since the Romans build thermal baths next to the hot spring and transformed Thermi into a holiday resort. Excavation in search of its temple has revealed the ruins of thermal baths, a roman road and shops.

Au début du 20e siècle, la région était fréquentée pour son hôtel de luxe, le "Sarlitza Palace", construit sur les plans d'architectes français. Durant près de 30 ans, il a attiré les visiteurs et célébrités du monde entier. Aujourd'hui il est abandonné et seuls les thermes sont encore en activité. Thermi est connue depuis l'époque romaine, quand les Romains avaient construit des thermes près d'une source chaude. Des fouilles à la recherche d'un temple ont mis à jour des bains, une rue et des magasins.
