Lonely church Photo

Photographer’s Note

During my flight from Samos island to the city of Thessaloniki I show this beautiful picture. It's a lonely church on a small island near the island of Lemnos.
I suppose that the only way to get there is by boat or by swimming!

The bigger island seems to have good extensive sandy beaches. It is the first time I see this picture what is marvellous. But by the name you have wrote, Lemos can be a useful information for a research. Go on showing this beautiful Greece. Best regards

Γεια σου Αντώνη,
Το εκκλησάκι αυτό είναι ο Άι Νικόλας (γμ: 39.88162- γπ: 25.223366) στον κόλπο του Μούδρου στη Λήμνο κοντά στο χωριό της γιαγιάς μου την Καλλιθέα (νομός Ν. Κούταλης). Πολύ όμορφη η πανοραμική αυτή θέα από ψηλά μια πολύ καλή και μοναδική για το εκκλησάκι αυτό λήψη, με καταπληκτικά χρώματα.
Όσο για τη σχολή στη Σάμο ίσως δεν τη δηλώσουμε, λόγω οικονομικών κριτηρίων και αρκεστούμε στην ΑΣΠΑΙΤΕ.
Ευχαριστούμε για την καλή σου πρόθεση.

nice take out of your airplane about this impressive island with that lonely church on that tiny island..
looks real impressive, seems to be that on every little island in the greece world you may find a little church (LOL)..

I'm impressed by the colours and the details of your photo taken through the airplaine's window. It looks like there is some remains of a road between the island and the islet. Very strange. I wonder if we can see this place on Google Earth too. Se xairetw,

Εξαιρετική φωτογραφία, υπέροχο θέαμα και θέμα, δεν το έχω ξαναδεί! Παρά τις αντικειμενικές δυσκολίες που συνεπάγεται μια λήψη από αεροπλάνο, τα κατάφερες περίφημα! Αψογο κάδρο και σύνθεση,καταπληκτική διαγώνιος, υπέροχα χρώματα! Συγχαρητήρια!

Αντώνη καλησπέρα,
πολύ ωραία η θέα από ψηλά,με το εκκλησάκι να φαίνεται τόσο καθαρά στα turquoise νερά.Το όλα σκηνικό θυμίζει εξωτικό κοραλλιογενές νησί.
