Το αρχαίο χωριό των Διευχών βρίσκεται 30 χλμ από την πόλη της Χίου. Αξίζει να επισκεφτείτε την
Μονή Μουνδών που βρίσκεται έξω από το χωριό και αποτελεί ένα από τα αξιοθέατα του νησιού.
Το πανηγύρι του χωριού είναι στις 29 Αυγούστου.

The ancient village of Diefha is located 30km far from Hios Town and, according to the 2001 census, has a population of 86 inhabitants.
Worth visiting is the late Byzantine Monastery of Moundon dedicated to the memory of St. John the Baptist (Ayos Yannis Prodromos), who is celebrated on August 29th. Over the cloister is the plateau of Amithounda, portrayed by a team of French experts as one of the best places in all Europe to breed horses for horse racing. Here there are also the waters of Angelos spring.

Il vecchio villaggio di Diefha si trova a 30km dalla città di Chios e, secondo l’ultimo censimento del 2001, conta una popolazione di 86 abitanti. Interessante da visitare è il monastero tardo-bizantino di Moundoun dedicato a San Giovanni Battista (Ag. Yiannis Prodromos), che è festeggiato il 29 agosto. Sopra il convento si trova l’altopiano di Amithounda, descritto da un team di esperti francesi come uno dei posti migliori dove allevare cavalli da corsa. Qui nascono anche le acque della sorgente di Angelos.

Sehenswert ist das byzantinische Kloster von Moundon zum Gedenken am Heiligen Johannes der Täufer (Agios Yiannis Prodromos), der am 29. August gefeirt wird. Über dem Kloster findet man das Plateau Armithounda, das nach der Meinung eines Teams von französischen Experten eine der besten Stellen in Europa für die Pferdezucht ist. Hier gibt es auch das Aggelos Quellwasser.
