Photographer's Note

This photo comes from the camera we were using film for this and this analysis is from negative. Although I find it very beautiful.New Fokea is a large settlement and center of the municipal district in the Municipality of Kassandra Halkidiki. It has 1,721 inhabitants in 2001. Its distance from Thessaloniki is 80 km. The summer attracts many tourists , who enjoy their holidays. For this purpose there is tourist infrastructure with hotels, restaurants and cafes. The people involved in tourism enterprises and fishing. Also produced vegetables and honey. New Fokea celebrated on June 29, Memorial Day Saints Peter and Paul. Among others there are 2 kindergartens, 1 primary school, high school, police station and clinic.

A dramatic and arresting image. I agree with Claude (Clodo) about the placement of the boat; not sure his sky is an improvement however! Your sky appears to be a little dirty and there is a splodge on the distant hills: the result no doubt of a dirty negative. Doesn't stop me wishing I were there!

Hi Maria,
in spite of being taken by an old compact camera, this photo keeps a high chromatic quality.
The visual effect of the blue tones is impressive, and its strong contrast with the green emerald color of the water in foreground increases the general beauty of this landscape.
I like the white brushstroke created by the sailboat.
