curious days
you feel an invisible threat
ripped posters
wound in the dirty walls
the nervous sounds of soles
extinguish in the empty streets
the murmur catchwords
verses of songs for other worlds
the evening in wide of Navarino
the air took the waste
with the last reasons of dream
and one still hurt hope

Η διαδήλωση

περίεργες μέρες
νιώθεις μια αόρατη απειλή
σκισμένες αφίσες
στους βρώμικους τοίχους πληγή
οι νευρικοί ήχοι των πελμάτων
σβήνουν στους άδειους δρόμους
το βουητό των συνθηματων
στίχοι τραγουδιών για άλλους κόσμους
το βράδυ στην πλατεία Ναυαρίνου
ο αέρας πήρε τα σκουπίδια
τα τελευταία λόγια του ονείρου
και μία ακόμη πληγωμένη ελπίδα

Kalispera Thoma,
The black cat looking at the poster, surrounded by the inner city waste is a superb motif. It makes this B/W (goofd choice) very evocative and together with the peom brings home the point very forcefully. Very good.
