Thessaloniki or Salonica (Greek: Θεσσαλονίκη, IPA: [θesaloˈnici]) is the second-largest city in Greece and the capital of Macedonia, the nation's largest region.
It is also the largest city in the wider geographical region of Macedonia. The Thessaloniki Urban Area extends around the Thermaic Gulf for approximately 17 kilometres (11 mi) and comprises 16 municipalities.

According to the 2001 census, the municipality of Thessaloniki had a population of 363,987, while the metropolitan population approximates one million inhabitants.

Thessaloniki is Greece's second major economic, industrial, commercial and political centre, and a major transportation hub for the rest of southeastern Europe; its commercial port is also of great importance for Greece and its southeast European hinterland. The country's Prime Minister traditionally gives his annual governmental speech outlining plans for the year to come from the city.

Thessaloniki retains several Ottoman and Jewish structures as well as a large number of Byzantine architectural monuments.
The city hosts an annual International Trade Fair, the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, and the largest bi-annual meeting of the Greek diaspora

Costantino,
Your composition is fine using the reflection to create nice depth and balance. The angle you choose gives the shot nice depth and direction. The lighting and colors are fine with excellent sharpness and detail. I wish you could have left out the small section of boat in the right lower corner. But it is still a great photo.

Γειά σου Κωνσταντίνε,
Πολύ καλή σύνθεση, με ζωντανά χρώματα, σωστή οξύτητα και κρυστάλλινες αντανακλάσεις.
Σωστή γωνία θέασης και πολύ καλό βάθος πεδίου.

Αυτή μάλλον θα έπρεπε να τη βγάλεις κατακόρυφα, αφ' ενός μεν για να χωρέσουν ολόκληροι οι ιστοί του πλοίου και η αντανάκλαση, αφ' ετέρου δε να περιοριστεί το δεξιό μέρος της εικόνας (που δεν προσφέρει και πολλά κατά τη γνώμη μου).

Δυνατή η φωτογραφία με ζωηρά χρώματα (κυρίως στα κατάρτια) και πολύ καλές αντανακλάσεις. Πολύ καλό το κάδρο σου καθώς και η θέση λήψης.

muito bonito esse barco, fotografou ele na famosa "Gouden Hour". Só achei a nitidez muito forte nessa imagem, um pouco menos ficaria melhor.

Hi Constantino,

Excellent one. Love the light, the predominant blue, the subject. The composition is also good, it could be even better with the inclusion of the entire boat shadow, but I imagine it was not possible.

Again, a lovely view, with a well chosen POV. The light and colours are as beautiful as the place and the boats. Only the noise/grain disturbs a bit.

lovely compliment to this magnificent boat, so well placed inside the image, creating dynamic feeling with its shape and direction. Light is marvelous and it brings out the best of colours. I would prefer to see the top of masts but sometimes we are limited with our equipment and we try to do the best we can. And you certainly did it! Beautiful shot!
