Photographer's Note
Something About Ghosts
I'm as lonely as a ghost as I sit down to write these notes
To you and your intended, spring is the worst time for most
Who've never reached the boundaries
Or heard the notes as they were sung
I believe this lonely ghost was forced to wander on until
By chance or fate was summoned
To call on you a service that he knew wouldn't be answered
Less repaid with lust
But still your faded shadow was forced to look upon
Sights not even a ghost should have to see
And as he slumps so listed, he cannot bear to watch
And yet he cannot turn his gaze away and flee
This poor ghost can only howl, although his howls cannot be heard
His cries will go unheeded
No one will ever read his words
And though he cannot weep, he sheds his tears through me
Music and lyrics by Matt Elliot

Hello Thomas,
this poem and shot could well be related to those who are really being hit by this so called "international crisis" and those who are really paying it.
Those who's voice cannot be heard and or those who's voice is being silenced.
We could well be those ghosts, those who cannot be seen or heard, those who are being silenced by some supposed governors or should i say ungovernors?
Cheers.

Hello Thomas,
you are presenting a very creative shot here. I cannot figure out whether it is a person or a statue, but the effect of the silhouette behind the veil of frozen water is striking-
well done.
Best regards

Hi Thomas,
Strange but very attractive picture with a lot of movement. It seems a work of art, it is a work of art.

Hi Thomas,
I always enjoy shots whereby the photographer look beyond the physical aspects of a scene. Trying to show our response and feeling when confronted with a situation or image makes this capture even more meaningful. I enjoyed this lovely poem and together with this image, the message sounds loud and clear. Beautiful piece of work!!
Best Regards.
