Photographer’s Note
Casa Bianca, Thessaloniki. Detail of the side aspect.
Casa Bianca is one of the "Towers", the mansions that started being built at the end of the 19th century, at the area where Vassilissis Olgas Street lies today. According to the findings produced during the restoration works on the monument, it was built between 1911 and 1913 on plans and designs drawn by the Italian architect Pietro Arrigoni, well-known from his numerous works in Thessaloniki. Today, it houses the Municipal Art Gallery and the offices of the 5th Municipal District.

Very nice job Dimitri! I've seen this beautiful building many times and i think you managed to capture it very well. Perfect colours and excellent sharpening! I like this smooth and soft feeling and the clear details. You managed to bring out the architectural beauty of it, in a great way! Well done!

An original building. I like the "asymmetric symmetry". Well captured. Jesus
