Greece - a storm Photo

Photographer’s Note

A storm draws nigh, Methoni - a little fishing village near Katerini (which is near Thessaloniki), Greece. The people really are A LOT more pleasant than the weather in the photo. Looks like the greek gods are displeased about something again. :)

The treatment or the compression made many damages, be carefull

Hallo Miha
Just to let you know that f22 doesn't mean that the quality will be best. At f9 to f11 you get the best quality that your lens can give. I think that you did it too much with sharpening and that the compresion wasn't made the right way.
As a composition and even more as a moment i would say that its a very nice image. Zeus shows his anger again lol.

welcome TE. A very good composition and frame.
It would be much better, for my opinion, if it was more bright , especialy in the background.

I think more than PP treatment the trouble is on the compression.
It's a nice image at anyway

nice capture makes me want to run for my life, its a bit blurred, this also happens to me when i compress a file so try saving it around 150 to 200kb, bye!bye!

Great dramatic pic, but obviously you don't manage the compression right ! This just to much compressed. use in photoshop (or any other program) the function "save for web".

Bonjour Miha,
un ciel qui en jette comme on dit.
On, y sent le traitement en post processing qui accentue la menace, mais on devine que ce ciel était déjà spectaculaire sans cela.
Un léger manque de définition et de précision dans le piqué.

fajn kompozicija na tej "napeti" sliki,kjer si zelo dobro izpostavil oblake. Mogoče edino ni ravno dovolj ostra?

i also prefer f9 and f11 to get quality.

HI Miha, very impressive the way the dark clouds come over the mountain. Personaly i think you use a bit to much saturation causing noise on the image. Maybe you can try to correct the noise with Neat Image and maybe a idea to crop or clone out the car at the fg. The composition and colors are great.

"The people really are A LOT more pleasant than the weather in the photo." = but you chose to show us the weather and not the people - and the clouds seem to come almost from a volcanic eruption !
Very impressive - but it seems a bit like a scanned photo (?)
Nice composition - without people :)))

i really lke the dramatic clouds and sky. Here the perspective is also wonderful, with the road leading to town.
Nice composition of multiple lements to make your shot an excellent one.
