Photographer’s Note

Ok, this is not the best photo ever, even the pov is not the best. And the cables are distinguishing. But I could not resist to make somehow this photo of these talking guys.

I drove through the old part of Kavala and was looking out for some motives. Then I saw this situation and I stopped my car in the middle of the car, put out my 200er lens and made as fast as possible this photo.

No time for the perfect pov, no time for other corrections. But, I still am somehow satisfied with this photo, as it is authentic. This is dialy life in Greece, with its architecture, chaos, narrow streets, people and mood.

I like it a lot. I hope you do it either.
Seen in Kavala town, region Macedonia, Greece.

Magnificent capture! This is one of the few photos where the wires don't bother me and actually add to the composition. I love the capture of the two men talking to each other from balcony to balcony across the street.

I'm thinking about travel to Kavala next week.
Now,after your photo I really would like to travel there.Great POV,superb colors and sharpness.I like the wires,colorful houses and two man's on the balcony.Sigxaritiria!

Εμένα μου αρέσει πολύ σαν σύνθεση, είναι πρωτότυπη, αλλά τα χρώματα είναι αφύσικα. Οι γυμνοί άντρες στα μπαλκόνια μαρτυρούν τον ζεστο καλοκαιρινο καιρο...ειχα περασει και γω καλοκαίρι στην Καβάλα/Θάσο και ηταν τελεια...

A good representation of Old Kavala...not an inch to spare huh..love to make it one day and feel the lack of space..the stuffiness..heat and sweat...

...I like this shot Saki, it's very good that you got over the cables "problem" and still posted this photo :) It's a really authentic and colourful life scene.
