Photographer’s Note

A panorama of Kastoria, Macedonia, Greece. The town is amphitheatrically built by the lake Orestias. I consider it one of the most beautiful towns in Greece. Visit it in winter, when you may find the lake frozen! Kastoria has a unique "old town" with many houses of traditional macedonian architecture.

* I made the picture too sharp, trying to overcome the lack of details. The result is unnatural, that is why I reposted the picture, with some small adjustments in colors, too.

Εξαιρετικό πανόραμα της πόλης της Καστοριάς από την μεριά της λίμνης. Έντονη αντίθεση χρωμάτων και ιδίως του μπλέ της λίμνης και του ουρανού. Πολύ καλό βάθος και οξύτητα. Πάρα πολύ καλή δουλειά Δημήτρη!

Great view.I like the contrast bewtween the water and the buildings.Very good colors and contrasts.I like the light and sharpness.I like the contrast between the sky and the mountains.Good job!

Hi Dimitri,

It's not really a problem that it lacks details, I think...
I like that white city caught between the two beautiful blues !! The moutains and the snow in the back are a real plus.
