Hi friends.
Some days ago I visited a gorge close to a village Milia to see a small chapel it is built in a rocky cave.
And I will post a small series to the chapel, a view from the cave and from the landscape around.
After this road I posted yesterday I had to climb a distance it is more difficult that this road distance.
I did not capture it because it was photographic not interesting.

(I write it for those they wrote me yesterday that is not difficult to climb there; OK it is not the most difficult but also not the easiest)

Here I try to show you the almost vertical iron steps I had to climb about 100 meters high.

On WS you can see different perspective and a view to the steps from the place where the chapel is.

and a different view

I shot them about half an hour before the sun set.

Any comments are welcome.
Thanks to all

Hello Evan,
Rather you than me is all I can say about the steps ;-) A very good if somewhat vertiginous pov. The inclusion of the patch of sky adds much to the image. Very good colours and clarity.

Kalimera Vangelis,
Lieben Gruss, Ulf

Belle prise. Amitiés Thomas

Hmm this reminds me of the climb/walk to Panagia Hozoviotissa on Amorgos. Well not these kind of stairs..but it looks like quite a walk, but the curves..the light and the rocks..it reminds me a bit of it. Nice light here, fine colours and strong low POV with the lines of the stairs creating depth. Well done.
You have a 'later' open on 1 of mine ;)

Greetings.

Hi Charo,
Very unusual prespective renders a unique and interesting view up these steep steps toward the wonderful little chapel. The late day light makes the golden rockface compliment the deep blue sky.
Regards, Tom

Hi Evan,

what a weird perspective. Very nice capture, specially the point of view. It seems we are gonna fall down...good colors and textures. Really nice!
Regards,
Carlos

Hi Evan, impressive how the stairs go high and higher!! Great POV to give us the feeling of the climb. Personaly i found the stairs at the fg a little to dark. I hope yoou don't mind but i deed a WS on it to light the fg. Like to know your opinion.

Hello Evan
Take care - don't drop your camera!
A difficult shot, but you have managed it very well. We get a good feeling of the height of the stairs.
Best Wishes Maggie

hi Evan,

I love the way you have composed the stair snaking through this image. great dimension .. the light really adds to the starkness of the place. Very nice. Disorienting in a great way.

take care

John
