Diving is the sport of jumping or falling into water from a platform or springboard, sometimes while performing acrobatics. Diving is an internationally-recognized sport that is part of the Olympic Games. In addition, unstructured and non-competitive diving is a recreational pastime.
Diving is one of the most popular Olympic sports with spectators. Competitors possess many of the same characteristics as gymnasts and dancers, including strength, flexibility, kinaesthetic judgment and air awareness.
The success of Greg Louganis has led to American strength in diving internationally. China came to prominence several decades ago when the sport was revolutionized by national coach Liang Boxi. Other noted countries in the sport include Russia, Great Britain, Italy, Australia and Canada.

Effectivement, l'eau est tellement belle que l'on a envie d'y plonger. J'aime les différentes teintes qui se déploient ainsi que la beauté du rivage rocheux.

Μαρία γεια σου,
κατ' αρχάς καλώς ήλθες στο site από την σύντομη απουσία σου.Τα νερά της Ουρανούπολης είναι πεντακάθαρα και μια βουτιά σ' αυτά πρέπει να είναι μεγάλη εμπειρία αλλά και πρόκληση.Το φως και τα χρώματα είναι εξαιρετικά.

Hi Maria,
Splash!!! Even though I can't rally swim very well, you have present this scene so beautifully that even I would be highly tempted to jump from a height into this wonderfully clear water. The slicer of blue sky in the top of the picture makes a wonderful sense of warmth to the shot too. Beautifully seen, thanks for making me want to go swimming :)

Καλησπερα Μαρια,
μια θαυμασια συμμετρικη συνθεση που περικλειει και τονιζει ολη τη μαγεια των φυσικων χρωματων και το ρολο του φωτος στον καθορισμο τους. Μου αρεσει παρα πολυ το βαθος, οι υφες και η καθαροτητα της εικονας. Και τα δυο μερη της συνθεσης ειναι ελκυστικα αλλα το παιχνιδι των αντανακλασεων ειναι συναρπαστικο. Διαχειριστηκες το φως και τις αντιθεσεις με μεγαλη επιδεξιοτητα. Συγχαρητηρια και ευχαριστω!

Hi Maria,
Beautiful water landscape. The colors and lighting on this image are its most compelling and captivating aspects. I love the blue sky as well as the rocks with green trees and crystal clear blue-green water, an excellent contrast. The green trees covered grass area also blends well with the sea water colors and provides a good deep feeling to the image. Well done.

I love the vivid and so natural colors here. They make the photo really eye catching. Especially the water in foreground it has a nice mix of reflected blue sky and underwater green color.
