Photographer’s Note

A bench at St. Acchiles island with an incredible view to the lake Small Prespa. There were no boats passing at that time and no people around, so everything was really peaceful and relaxing, even the lake was so calm...The mist covering the whole area was making the atmosphere a little mysterious and the colours were beautiful, so it was a perfect time for shooting.

The colours of the original were a little dull, so i boosted them slightly and sharpened the image.

Wonderful light and a good silhouette to go. The sense of tranquility is well complimented by the empty bench. A photographers dream to arrive at such a scene. IThe light and mist would have made it a good pic even if the bench had not been there.

Thats a sharp picture!
The bench came out very good, a strong silhouet surrounded by the soft background. Also the water is totally undisturbed. A nice detail I think is the soft mist along the border, it gives some light. The combination of angles combines nicely together to a good composition.
One of my fav's!

I want to add that the signature is in good combination and can just be seen. Most others add a signature like a neon sign.

La photo est très jolie, les couleurs, celles d'un soleil rasant, le cadrage parfait; vraiment une vie qui inspire la sérénité, voire la méditation.
Dommage qu'apparement lors de la sauvegarde, on remarque beaucoup de compression de données.

Exceptional atmosphere and succesful capture of fog, sun and it's mirage! It looks as if the bench faces another world! Personally, I would prefer more horizon to the right, so that a sense of depth would be achieved, like a view to infinity! Astonishing photograph, however, in every case!
