One more shot from the beautiful Lake Small Prespa, this time from the island of St. Acchiles. The island is very small, with only a few citizens and many old, traditional houses and byzantine monuments with great historical importance. It is a very peaceful and relaxing place, right at the heart of the Lake. The natural beauty of the area, with the amazing colours and the beautiful deep blue water of the lake around, and the warmth and the hospitality of the locals, that live there almost severed from the rest of the world, are the thing that amazed me more during that visit of mine to this magical island.
I took the shot from a spot on a hill, where the view was absolutely breathtaking. From that height i could see almost the whole lake and the mountains that surround it, with their beautiful reflections. Not much editing done to the image, i just applied the automatic colour balance. I hope you will like it!
