In these cold days, a picture from the Lefkada Island, Greece. Waiting for next summer.
This is one of the many long desert beaches on the western side of the island. They have some acces points by gravel but well mantained roads.

Just the reminder we need now. An almost empty beach, sunshine and turquoise water. Nice diagonal lines across the corner.

Lovely view, can't wait for summer either. Strong on-top colours & it wouldn't work without that triangle of blue there. I detect some overexposure on those white skins, though:-)

Hi Stefano
As I'm in the clouds and can't see the beautiful sunny mountains today, it's nice to dream about beaches such as this one. I wouldn't mind being there too. I like the balance between the isolated couple and the parasol. The footprints in the sand create an interesting texture. The turquoise water is so inviting.

eh si, Lefkade mi attira! Mi sono appassionata alle isole Ionie, tutte bellissime, e spero di arrivare anche qua. Tu gli fai una pubblicità irresistibile, del resto! Le sfumature di colore qui sono fantastiche.

this one makes me want to jump on a plane and leave the rainy, cold, crowded and busy istanbul as soon as possible, for some sunshine in my eyes, salty water in my hair and golden sand on my feet... simple yet so striking shot stefano...

proprio oggi ero a passeggio lungo il mare e la vogli d'estate era davvero forte.
Grazie per questa foto apparentemente dominata dalla sabbia ma piena di piccoli particolari che riempiono l'occhio con i loro colori.

Me encanta esta imagen. La presencia solitaria de la pareja, la sombrilla que parece abandonada a su suerte y el pequeño triángulo del mar entrando por el lateral inferior completan una imagen visualmente muy atractiva y excelentemente compuesta.
Mis mejores deseos para este año que empieza, que la suerte te acompañe y que tus sueños puedan verse cumplidos.

Has the 'smarcell' stamp all over the picture with the minimalism & superb visualisation. Fine diagonal with the small triangle of the turquoise sea fantastic & contrasts superbly with the sand colours. The sun bathers are balanced by the umbrella. Fine work!

Hi again,

one more shot i'd like to write about. Great composition, the color of the sea is beautiful. You were lucky that the beach was almost empty.

For overall composition just this couple and one umbrella is a perfect choice. It makes me think about holidays, too.
