The road to Agiofili, a photo from Lefkada, Ionian Islands

Photographer's Note

Agiofili Beach is located in the south part of the island. It is within walking distance from Vasiliki, but in the summer plenty of turists just take one of the frequent boats to get there.
This place however is quite hidden and you can get there after negotiating some thorny bushes. I love it though, it is always an invite for a swim.

Beautiful tourquise sea water and great transparency.
Picture has good DOF nad clarity, scenery over the rocky-coastline is most impressive.

ogni giono mi sai sognare con il mare della tua Grecia!
Le tue foto non annoiano mai perchè sono fatte con il cuore e riesci a trasmettere le emozioni insite nella bellezza della natura. Anche in questa un bel contrasto tra rocce, cielo e mare che fondono i loro colori in un insieme armonico dove l composizione è equilibrata e la tecnica senza difetti di sorta.

Nice picture Kamila, with a good POV dominating the clear sea. The hills in the distance add a little beauty to this picture.

inviting for a swim is true, that water looks totally beautiful, and if I could climb inside the frame and take a dip, i'd be happy to. Really nice composition with lots of great detail of the coast and those distant mountains.

Interesting description accompanying this shot. Photowise, i believe you have identifed the strong elements in making this; for the rocks warm tones and turquoise blue create such a superb contrast. Must be a dream beach as you have already described and everything looks so well defined and in sharp focus taken from such a strategic point of view. Gorgeous, TFS.
