Photographer's Note

The marina possibly the most modern marina of Mediterannean Sea has been operating since 2002. With a total capacity of 620 yachts up to 45 meters in length and 3.5 meters draught can be accommodated, while there are dry docking facilities for approximately 278 boats.
The marina operates whole year round and helps to keep the town busier than the other places on the island.

The vertical format really works well here to provide depth, with the eye following the scene inward. I like the clarity of detail here. The line of masts and ropes give a graphical touch to the image while the lamppost enhances the foreground nicely. Well captured.

kiedy tak patrze na twoje zdjecie,kiedy bylo zrobione i wyjrze za okno u siebie to mozna sie troche zdolowac:)
bardzo ladna scena z przystani z jachtami,no i pogoda-marzenie.Czego chciec wiecej?
Bardzo podoba mi sie sam kadr,swietnie wywazony pomiedzy jachtami a promenada z pieknymi,stylowymi lampami.Do tego znakomita jakosc obrazu i ladne,naturalnie odwzorowane kolory.

I'm a big fan of Marina's and boats.
here we have both, and its capped off smartly with a white and blue skyline...that makes all the difference.
love the tall black light post too.

una diagonale costituita da linee verticali bianche contrapposte dai lampioni scuri, il tutto su un'immagine dal taglio verticale, direi una bella composizione, con una buona luce e dei bei colori.

Ta marina jest rzeczywiście duża. podoba mi sie kompozycja z rzedem masztów uporządkowanych wzdłuz diagonali. Świetna głębia. Ładna scena z przystani, chyba teraz nie sezo n i jachty w zimowym snie.

le tue foto sono sempre ben composte e anche questa non fa eccezione. Qui alla bella successione di barche fanno da complemento la diagonale della banchina, il motivo grafico della sua pavimentazione e il lampione che ci sta a perfezione.
Belli i colori grazie all'azzurro del cielo che lega bene con il colore delle barche.

This is a very well composed image of the marina that would make an excellent illustration about depth and perspective especially I like the way you have interest in the image right from the foreground to the background creating much more defined highlights on your subject and works particularly well with exposure like this. A bit lower down viewpoint with excellent lead and natural coloring spice the whole image up even futher. A well organised pleasing shot and fine effort, Congrats.

Hi Kamila,

Lovely shot of this marina. I'm not a "boat person" myself, but I enjoy the lively atmosphere of a harbour, marina or any other place where there's an abundance of boats. This has been well composed, I really like the ascending masts on the boats juxtaposed with the hard line created from the pavement as they converge into the focal point of this arrangement. Everything looks to be sharp and the lighting adds to the sense of a peaceful setting. Well done!
