Photographer’s Note

This is the beach of Egremni, in Lefkada, an isle of the Ionian Greece.
A splendid long stretch of beach with blue sea and almost nobody around, o the western side of the isle.
It has some access points by some gravel but well kept roads.

Hello Stefano,

An imaginative and beautiful composition, with the beach umbrellas arranged in a diagonal; the colors and definition are excellent for a scanned image, but Velvia-100 is unusually sharp. I like this photo very much.

Beauty and impression of this shot is coming from the simplicity.

Marvelous one Stefano, i saw that one this morning and it put me in a great mood, the clarity is perfect there, the simplicity and minimalism excellent, the POV from above ... Yes everything is EXCELLENT there, and i know what i'm talking about as a lover of beachy shots ;)
Always hard to handle with sun on sand and youdid so well there.

Sembra sia passata prima la cameriera a rifare i lettini... dal sole verticale è una foto scattata con il caldo, con molto caldo.

Great graphic shot! I love the colors, the composition and the POV. But what makes it so special for me is all those footsteps in the sand and the fact that there is no one on the beach walking. Really great photo.
