Take a jumbo across the water
Like to see America (Hi,Brenda,Bulent,Jason!)
See the girls in California (Hello,Ray)
I'm hoping it's going to come true
But there's not a lot I can do
Could we have kippers for breakfast
Mummy dear, Mummy dear
They got to have 'em in Texas
Cos everyone's a millionaire (Hi,Russ and Barbara!)
I'm a winner, I'm a sinner
Do you want my autograph
I'm a loser, what a joker
I'm playing my jokes upon you
While there's nothing better to do...
Supertramp "Breakfast In America", 1979
This is my last post from the Eastern semisphere on September.
Tomorrow afternoon I must to be in New York. And after tomorrow I hope I will get my first breakfast. In America.
See you again here!

Even if you had uploaded a fuzzy, grossly over/underexposed photo with half the subject off the frame, you would have got full marks from me for that title. I immediately recognized it, Supertramp was (and is) one of my favorite groups when I was in college. I remember playing Breakfast in America (the whole album) over and over, recording it on cassette tapes for friends (never mind the copyright laws, back then, back in Turkey). You made my day with that title!
Now, the photo that goes with that title is very nice, too. I like the slightly out of focus canopy framing the top, but that also peaks my curiosity: Where were you when you took this photo? I am going to guess a restaurant or a boat.
BTW, will your travels in the States bring you anywhere close to Pittsburgh? I live about an hour north of Pittsburgh.

a lovely way to announce your journey to America:) The inclusion of the tent is great, it betrays your viwepoint and gives you the role of the observer. But from tomorrow you'll be a traveller again. I like the placement of the plane and the sky is lovely and interesting. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, I wish you a marvellous journey,

I like that tarp on top of the frame. It gives an idea of hanging out on a beach while watching planes landing and taking off. Sunny scene that makes me whant to travel south again.
But Airbus of Easyjet can hardly be called Jumbo.

Your note is cool :) a perfect compliment to the shot, and a nice one to post as you board a plane to go and have breakfast on the other side of the world. So breakfast in new York, nice, I always wanted to try pancakes and bacon with maple syrup. Have a safe trip,
All the best

Sensational how well you've framed this magnificent Jumbo in your visual field, the beautiful sky so blue background with some touches of white clouds. The edge of the canopy adds a touch of proximity.
Good management of light and sharpness.
Have a good evening.
Best wishes, from my beloved Madrid, where we are still with temperatures of 30 degrees, but with cool nights ..
Happy travels to New York
