Photographer's Note
Corfu Island. The cruise ship Crystal Serenity was in dock for the day, and we had just boarded a shuttle bus to ride into Central Corfu. Next to our bus was another shuttle bus, decorated with figures of shoppers, reveling with shopping bags, stuffed with bargains. Visible through the windows were similar silhouettes on the other side of the shuttle bus, together creating an effective advertisement for the Duty Free Shop. Visible also is a tent with the ship's name "Crystal Serenity." In that instant as the bus pulled away, the only camera I had handy was an iPhone IV, and I quickly shot a few frames. I don't believe I could have captured the fleeting moment any better with my Nikon D200.
Post Script:
Please, take a gander at the cropped version of this photo suggested by Gert Holmertz. I had already cropped distracting elements at the top, but I prefer the close-cropping of Gert.

Dear Bulent,
It's always very difficult to make equations between two different cameras, light and composition are almost always determinative for a good of bad picture.
These picture belongs to the daily life image with contrasts and nice figurative images.
Excellent composition a perfect captured.
Colors and sharpness are pleasant for look at.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice Sunday,
John.

Hello Bülent,
You had a nice idea for this shot. It's amazing sometimes what a simple mobile phone camera can do nowadays. They have become quite efficient. This is a photo of fine graphic qualities and the light is very well handled under the not entirely easy circumstances. Maybe the effect would have been even greater if you had cropped the right part, where there are some distracting details. Please see my suggestion in a workshop
Kind regards,
Gert

Merhaba Bulent & greetings from Erzurum, Turkey!
Love the quirky commuter artwork on the bus. They have something similar on some sky trains in Bangkok, Thailand, but it's hard to photograph when you're a commuter. (crowds, time is tight etc). Good color, saturation, sharpness & graphism. The blue tints contrast well against the orange hues to give a superb warm cold color contrast. Tfs!

Hello Bulent,
A very different and a very interesting shot.
I am amazed at the quality of your iPhone. My little old phone would not have produced anything like this.
The magic is the subject and depth. A truly original subject. Well seen!
I have to agree with Gert, the w/s focuses attention better and three figures makes for a better composition.
Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)

A fascinating shot with great depth, considering your subjects were two dimensional, Bulent. And certainly well captured with a mobile phone as well. I like Gert's crop, and was thinking as well that the left side of the shot is much more vital to the concept than the right here, so I'm glad he gave that a shot. Good eye and reaction here!

Awesome capture and good technical quality from an iPhone, I never use my iPhone to take pictures. Good documentation of daily life with good lighting and nice details. Well done, tfs.

Bonsoir, cher ami Bulent,
L'art de saisir le moment opportun, tel est le résultat de cette très bonne composition.
Il fallait avoir l'oeil exercé d'un très bon photographe pour saisir cette scène d'un moment particulier.
Très bien réalisé.
Amitiés.

HI Bulent
very interesting....
I have to say that i enjoy your version more.
as a smart man yourself, perhaps you know....odd numbered subjects will always be more naturally pleasing to the human eye than even mumbered subjects in a frame. I know its not a 'full' 3 subjects, but for my eye it looks better than the 2 subjects.
and i really like the addition of the fancy-free lady in the bg :)
enjoy your day!

Hi Bulent, I like this shot with many planes. The red figures with duty free bags are really eye catching. funny this figure behind the window. And nice to see part of the Crystal Serenity. Good photo taken with iPhone.

Helo Bulent
Sometimes just for a quick shot a phone is enough, what matters , not always, is composition and taste
This to say that I prefer the cropped photo of the WS
A very original a quick capture
Warm regards
Maria
