Olive trees in Corfu Photo

Photographer’s Note

Corfu island is really covered by olive trees, they told me that there are 4 millions of trees, ancient beautiful ones, as natural monuments.

I tried lots of photos, but it is a difficult subject as well as it is so lovely to see. I post this one, hoping that you like it, also if I would be able to describe such a beauty in a better way. Olive trees creates a silver landscape in the island.

Magnifficent shot of these ancient olive-trees from Kerkyra. They look like symbols of freedom - wild and strong - no wonder, for olives from them are left to fall by themselves on special grails.
Excellent colors, pov and dynamic range.

Hello Livia,

it´s sure a bit difficult to manage the light-conditions in such a strange shadow and light-scenery, but you´ve managed it good, in my opinion.. there is really a silver glittering to be seen..

Ciao Livia,
mi aspettavo di vedere tante Befane oggi ed essendo tu molto originale, pensavo ne postassi una.
Al momento ho visto a parte me, soltanto Ludo, mettere una Befana nel nostro sito.
Comunque il tuo scatto è di tutto rispetto. Gli ulivi sono alberi che se saputi fotografare, rendono la foto particolarmente artistica.
Apprezzevole il gioco di luci ed ombre sul terreno.

Ciao Livia, fantastici questi ulivi centenari, ne abbiamo di splendidi anche in Italia, ma qui sembra quasi di essere in una foresta, mai visto un uliveto così, grazie, brava

Oh Livia, thank you for posting Corfu's gorgeous olive trees!
I did make a similar photo, but didnt check it out right away. Later I saw it was overexposed...
So, Bernd (bema) is totally right: great job!!
