This photo was taken before the sea trip to the Paxos and Anti-Paxos Islands from Benitses (Corfu).
You can ask me: why this one? I don't know. My eye just caught this image from the hundreds.

Why this? Because it's a good photo with two interesting sections. At mid level we see the forest of masts and in the foreground is a man nicely surrounded by the well polished brown wood of his boat. It happens to me quite often that I select a number of photos immediately after a journey, and then much later I find the best ones among those I didn't even consider earlier. It seems it always pays to go back after a while.

I like this composition juxtaposing the man on his boat against the line of yachts in the background. The mood created by the light and shadow play is very appealing. Pleasing warm colours in the foreground contrast nicely with the cool blue tones of sea and sky. A very good choice!

Beautifully composed image with perfect balance and great atmosphere. The lovely reflections stand out in contrast with the warm colours of the foreground. Wonderful quiet hour.
Thanks for sharing and have a nice evening.

I like the composition of this photo. Good inclusion of the boat and the man in the foreground. I like the reflections in the calm water too.

Hi Serghei, absolutely beautiful! I love this composition, the central part with the man head between the electric reflections of boat trees is fantastic! What a effect and what a top quality of sharpness and exposure, very very well done!! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

I think Gert pretty much summed it up perfectly, it really is a pleasant picture of intersections. I really enjoy the rounded edges of the forefground elements, leading us towards the vertical ones contained in the compilation of boat mast's, which then spread across the vertical frame.
Lots of different lines and shapes to take in, and the gentleman standing up front is a great addition to the scenery...even with an odd pose as you captured this precise moment. :) Calm and easy-going, probably the exact opposite of the next couple weeks. :)) See you shortly my dear friend. Take care.
Cheers from the desert,

Very nicely kept the man stood on the boat in foreground and series of boats with long mast in background, very good composition, well exhibited in a vertical frame. Very sharped and good contrast image.
with warm regards and thanks,

I think you choose this picture for the interesting combination of several objects.
The fragile masts of the boats in front of the horizon. The dark boats and the lonely man in front looking at all of this.
This combination makes this a very attractive composition.

Hi Serghei, Such forest of masts is something I see all the time lately, spending my lazy holidays on the lakes and forests. Nice picture with this guy waiting for the cruise.
