Waiting in the harbour, a photo from Kefalinia, Ionian Islands

Photographer's Note

Located in the western part of the island Kefalonia, the village of Lixouri can be reached from the main town Argostoli either by car driving along the coast or by ferry. That day a strong wind was blowing and therefore it was impossible to get there by ferry. We drove along the fjord like coast and got there where we took a nice walk before going to the wonderful beach of Xi.

Hi Samuele,
You used a third rule for your photo and in two-third showed the beautiful sky. You had gorgeous weather to shot this photo. I like the vertical framing with boats in the foreground and hills in the background.

the vertical format is perfect as it allow us to see from the beautiful foreground until the cloudy sky.The light and the colours are well managed as the line of the boats adds perspective in the scene.
