Congrats my friend! This symbolic picture shows its best to coincide the day. Great shot with the viewr gets to concentrate the amazing white swan such an the eye-catching bird. Lovely tones and light and I simply love the feel of peacefulness and stunning contrast it conveys. Please check your white colour correction as the swan appears a bit blueish, that my only neg critique. Hopefull it's acceptable to you, but having said that - the image is beautiful, Congrats

Η σημερινή "επετειακή" φωτογραφία είναι πολύ όμορφη. Μου αρέσει που ο κύκνος είναι στραμμένος προς τον φακό και τα ίχνη της απαλής κίνησής του μέσα στο νερό. I like the symbolism of this direct and explicit composition, only the white swan swimming in the blue lake, with a wonderful chromatic contrast.
The soft wavinesses created on the surface of the water provide a good dynamic effect on the photo.

Light and colours are perfect. Unfortunately in northern Europe we cannot yet say welcome to spring. We still have to look beyond the horizon and shout "Where are you?".

Hello Chris,
Congrats on one year here on TE. :-) Swans are so beautiful, and thanks for offering us a photo of this graceful bird. It is a simple composition, but one that is lovely in its simplicity. If I may offer one small comment, to me it seems that there is a bit of blue tint to the photo. It gives the water a nice color, but the swan also looks a bit blue. Maybe that could be balanced out a bit. :-)

Congrats and this is a lovely shot to mark the milestone. I love the deep blue tone, it prove so much mood of melodrama and the lonely swan also adds to the solitary mood. Love the patterns of the water by the wind and the motion of the swan left behind.
