Photographer’s Note

One of the fiew places in Greece that surfers can do this so special sport is Ligia, a nice beach about 35 kms in the north of Preveza.
When the wind is south, the waves comes up!!!

Hello Spyros,

This is an absolutely sensational action shot, with the variegated colors of blues and greens. The crest of the top wave is narrow enough to serve as an iridescent and translucent sheet, the surfer seen as a silhouette.

have seen these waves natural some more kilometers north, in the bay of Loutsa and Vrahos.. several years ago..was always a pleasure, but you still have be kind with them..
Ligia i only drived by on our passages from or to Preveza..

This looks like it could be in a sports magazine. Great action shot. The surfer is just in the right spot of this vertical image. Great water details with the waves crashing all around.
