Photographer's Note

Something a few years old for today, view of Parga from a chapel on a hilltop south of town, taken in the morning. It's possible to swim to the pine covered islands from the beach.

This is another one of those great panormas which you are known for, in which it actually looks like you took this from the air! Great colour and detail, and I like the sweeping curve of the shoreline as it goes into the distance. Great work!

Hi Tan - you got another good, high viewpoint here. The blues are really good, very strong colours in the water, and indeed throughout the rest of the image.

Incredible point of view .. (as always) ..

Beautiful combination of greens and blues .. the red roofs and white building of the little village are wonderful hugging the hillside .. the little islets and rocks creates a wonderful transition from sea and land ..

I love the strong colours of this shot. The very deep blue, pleasant green tones and a little bit of red and white of the buildings are a great combination together. The POV and composition are very good as well. Thanks for sharing!

The light, colors, POV and composition are simply great. It's a pity that it is a scan. I can imagine how much quality you lost in the processing and resizing part to post it at TE. Did you actually swim to the islands or is that just your knowledege that you could do it?

Another fabulous Mediterranean view. All those curves on the shore, the islets, the verdant hills and the white and red of the houses give a wonderful image. By putting the taller hill on the corner, it looks like our eyes are conducted from below to the top of it. I like also the shadow in the middle.

Hi Tan,
The rich blue tones here captured with the Fuji film are hard to beat with digital. I like the winding coastline and your lofty POV, with the verdant forests predominating over the town. This looks like a quiet snug place to enjoy with a little boat. Well captured.

Hi Tan.
This view could have been taken from Kerkyra raher than from the continental part of Greece. The vegetation is indeed incredibely dense and it gives a very particular aspect to the place. The red roofs make very nice contrast with the green trees and the fantastic Greek Mediterranean Sea.

beautiful composition. The colors are so pleasant to the eye, and curves add a lot of interest to this shot. It has a mood of tranquility and makes us feel good and relaxed just looking at it. I like the play of light and colours in this one with the rich green contrasted by the blue of the sea and the little red roofs.

Stunning photo, this one shows well the beauty of this place. I've only seen this city from high above, from an airplane, but I could well recognize it due to it's location around this curved coast, indeed with those rocky small islands in front. But this photo gives a better view than from the (almost always dirty) window from an airplane. Great colour, sharpness, detail. The exposure seems to be spot on. Well done.
