The beautiful city of Parga is situated 68 Km Northwest of Preveza city and 50 km Southeast of Igoumenitsa. It belongs in the Prefecture of Preveza, in the region of Epirus. Parga is one of the more beautiful coastal cities of Greece, with particularly islander colour. The graphic city with its narrow stone-built streets, a resort today, is stretched out under the shade of Medieval fortress, from where the view to Ionian sea and to the islet of Virgin Mary with the white church is unique.
Valtos beach It's the biggest beach of Parga. The view that the visitor can enjoy at Valtos is really unique: high on the left there is the imposing castle which seems to rule the bay. On the right, looking at the sea it is possible to admire the nearby islands of Paxos and Antipaxos which are reachable by small boats. During the summer this service is given every day.
