Photographer's Note

The lovely little town of Parga, Greece, surrounded by mountains thick with olive groves, is situated in a secluded bay of the Ionian Sea, in the Epirus region of Greece.
The position of Parga, with its houses built amphitheatrically from the coast up to the top of a mountain, gives this small town its picturesque quality and an island-like ambiance.

yes that´s Parga, really a very special little town at the Epirus coast, have visited it about three or four times during several vacations in Epirus..

a wonderfully complex composition that is so full of intrigue and typifies the way the Greeks seem to manage to make the most of space. Love the position of the flag which makes a superb anchor point. A well observed and executed shot. Bravo!

Beautiful postcard photo of Parga. You have filled the frame nicely with those intereting looking houses.

I passed through Parga 20 years ago and I recall it looking a rather neat place.
