Photographer’s Note
Mt Gramos is situated on the border between Greece and Albania and belongs to the Northern Pindos Mountain Range. The last battle of the Greek civil war was fought here in 1949. We started our hike from Plikati village on the south-western slopes of the mountain, ascended the border ridge, continued NE on the ridge, climbed the Mavri Petra (2,431m) and the Gramos (2,520m) peaks .
