Photographer’s Note

Quite a few of my last posts are related with "Nisaki: (means "Little Island" in greek), the islet on the lake of Ioannina (Lake Pamvotis). So here you can see the whole islet around the "golden" hour and also in the background the beautiful town of Ioannina. Photo taken from the road that leads to the martyric village of Ligiades.

La verdad sea dicha, una foto impresionante. Tienes una similar... pero me gusta más ésta.
Perdiste el trípode en la carretera o fue en la isla.

Sea como sea, ten más ojo con él aunque solo sea por nosotros para no dejarnos sin fotos como ésta.

the one point is to be lucky to be at the right time at the right place. the other point is to get the photo as you did. the lights of the city created a very deep feeling and the little island gives us an idea about the dimensions. about the vivid and well managed colors we do not have to talk about. a brilliant shot irakli! with my best wishes, valentinos

Hi, Hercules -

Lovely capture indeed! It almost looks like glowing lava with all those red lights. Great light management and timing. I think I would have trimmed out the bit of dark piling on the lower right edge, or else shown more of it.

ya sabes de sobra que ésta es de las que me encantan, son unos momentos de luz y color realmente fascinantes.
Y tú eres un artista en captar esos momentos mágicos, únicos y bellísimos, y además, con estos impresionantes paisajes que ayudan a crear bonitas composiciones, aunque estas tomas a la hora azul sean complicadas.
