Peaceful Nisaki nights Photo

Photographer’s Note

A night view of the small island of the Lake of Ioannina (or Pamvotis lake), with the simple name "Nisaki" (means "little island"), one of my "weaknesses" if you take a look at many of my older posts. Photo taken from Drabatova, a place on the west bank of the lake, where the inhabitants of the island leave their cars and boats. Its peaceful atmosphere is enchanting!

"Nissi
This is the islet in the lake of Ioannina which is accessible in ten minutes by small boat. There is a complete village on the island built in the 7th century by refugees from Mani and, because of its picturesqueness it has been declared a traditional settlement to be presewed. There are also some very important Byzantine monuments, such as the Monastery which contains fine frescoes dating to 1530 A.D., the Monastery or Monastery, as it is also known, the Monastery with its chapel of rare architectural style and also the more recent Monastery of Agios , where Ali Pasha met his death after having quarrelled with the Sultan. This monastery is now a museum. Along the shores of the islet there are some tavern as which specialist in fish dishes from the lake's fish, frog's legs and other specialities.

¿Seré el primero?

El señor de la hora azul nos ha vuelto a hablar y nos dado otra foto donde la hora azul viene por partida doble: en el cielo y en el agua (nero, ¿verdad?) reflejada.

Composición muy sencilla para una muy buena atractiva foto casi nocturna.

Magnifique scène de nuit et excellente exposition. on retrouve une atmosphère enchanteresse et de merveilleuses couleurs, les reflets sont fantastiques sur cette mer calme. Bonne composition et intéressante note.

Very nice blue hour view of the island scenery from a full frame sensor, the color seems to explode.

The water is so calm that for 30s shutter, the surface is smooth without ripples - just look at the reflection!
