Unzipping the lake Photo

Photographer’s Note

***LARGE POST***

Two boats, one coming and one returning from Nisaki (the islet of Lake Pamvotis), they "meet" in the lake and start unzipping it. The visitor of Ioannina can go to "Molos" and take a boat that departs every half an hour, if he wants to visit the Nisaki (highly recommended). The "trip" lasts about 10 minutes.

Εξαιρετικές φωτογραφίες Ηρακλή.
Τα γεωμετρικά σχήματα που εμφανίζονται στο ήρεμο νερό της λίμνης είναι καταπληκτικά. Αν έπρεπε να διαλέξω θα διάλεγα το πρώτο.

Hi Hercules,
a stunning sequence, a perfect example for interfering waves. In ancient times people of the pacific islands used these interferences for orientation, they could tell where the next island should be (OK nt the waves from the boats, but from the wind).
A pity all this knowledge gets lost.

Ηρακλή καλησπέρα,
έγραψες, με αυτό πάντρεμα των τριών φωτογραφιών που είναι τραβηγμένες από το ίδιο σημείο αλλά με διαφορετικούς αλλά τόσο εντυπωσιακούς σχηματισμούς.Το έμπειρο μάτι 'είδε', αυτούς τους γεωμετρικούς σχηματισμούς μέσα στο νερό και έδρασε άμεσα,και να το εξαίσιο αυτό αποτέλεσμα μπροστά μας να το θαυμάζουμε..Μπράβο.
