Photographer’s Note

The holy monastery of St. Anargyroi is among Papigo, St. Minas and Klidonia villages.
Built on a steep slope into the Vikos Gorge close to Voidomatis river's bank. Nothing is left of the old monastery but ruins.
The tiny church is fortunately in a good state of preservation. The entrance has a low door. The lintel arch is built of limestone. The icon screen is woodcut and gold-plated with blue and red background. Erected in 1660.

It is a superb framing of the church between the old walls and the trees. Very good light too. I like much simple architecture and the old stones with the beautiful colors. Good work.

Hello, Athanasios .
That's a beautiful, peaceful and very authentic athmosphere that comes with your picture. The old stones of the mnastery are very nice and sharply rendered. The upper part is slightly over-exposed and blurry, but it contributes to the general atmosphere.

Γειάσου Αθανάσιε, η περιοχή είναι από της πιο αγαπημένες μου, την άνοιξη είχα πάει εκεί ακριβώς σε αυτό το μοναστήρι αλλά φωτιστικά μου ήταν τελείως άβολα και δεν είχα καλό αποτέλεσμα.
Η γωνία λήψης σου πάρα πολύ καλά με πολύ καλή οξύτητα.
Καλό απόγευμα.

Nice shot, depicting one of the remote and almost unknown treasures of our tradition! TFS.
I like your POV and light. But I think that you should crop it from the right, because it would be easier for someone to focus his glance on the church, not been disturbed by the tree branches!
