Photographer’s Note

I met her in November 1998. It was a misty afternoon. She was waiting for me. She was willowy, known only of magazines. I was so tired, so I slept immediately beside her. It was like a dream. Early in the morning, I opened my eyes and I saw her face. Since then, she is my lover. Her name is sierra Pindus and her face is this: Astraka Mt. I hope you like her as I do!

And since that november you kept on visiting her in her natural environment ?
So you love this mountain?! I can imagine..it looks very nice, lovely colours on the vegetation in the foreground too. The quality is good, but not the best, but I can imagine you lost some detail while scanning in the photo, just a bit of sharpness could be added. A gentle touch of contrast more could also help. But don't get me wrong, the colours and detail are pretty well, just could be a touch enhanced!

it's a bit difficult taking photograph like this one. You have captured her very well. Very sharp and can see detail of trees.

Beautiful tone .. the light adds this slight diffuse feeling that makes it seem almost dream like .. I agree with you .. a wonderful looking place.

Καλησπέρα Αθανάσιε.
Εκπληκτικό και εντυπωσιακό πορτρέτο της Πίνδου.
Δεν την έχω επισκεφθεί αλλά ελπίζω σύντομα.
Πολύ καλό το καντράρισμα σου, με πρώτο πλάνο τον "πράσινο" βράχο που κάνει ακόμα πιό έντονη την αγριάδα της.
Θα μου άρεσε λίγο λιγότερο φώς. Θα τόνιζε περισσότερο το ανάγλυφο του βράχου.
Πολύ καλό το σημειώμα σου την κάνει να φαντάζει ακόμα πιό όμορφη και...θελκτική.
Σου εύχομαι καλή Πρωτομαγιά

The is a spectacular rock, presented with all its majesty, and a note to complement it. The composition, colors, light and shadow, and the definition are all first rate. A very good scanned image.

Αθανάσιε πρέπει να σε πληροφορήσω, αν και θα το έχεις ήδη αντιληφθεί, πως αυτή σου η σχέση δεν πρόκειται να είναι ήσυχη! έχεις πάρα πολλούς αντίζηλους που αμφισβητούν την αποκλειστικότητά σου και μάλιστα ισχυρίζονται οτι εκείνοι είναι οι ευνοούμενοι της συγκεκριμένης ύπαρξης! όπως και να'χει πάντως, το συγκεκριμένο πορτραίτο είναι υπέροχο και αν μη τι άλλο αποδεικνύει πως τα συναισθήματά σου είναι αληθινά :)

α,ανέβασα κι'εγώ σήμερα μια φωτογραφία της λεγάμενης. ( μην ανησυχείς, απλοί φίλοι είμαστε ;)

that's a beaty...your point of view which presents the rock against the sky with the colourful autumn foreground is well chosen...i like the light here although a touch of post processing contrast could improve this image...cheers, arturo

A pretty mountain view. The well-lit hill and the slope in the foreground make a nice work like a window through which we can have a look in the rocky mountain top in the background. The place looks so unspoiled and isolated.

νάσαι καλά που μας μεταφέρεις έστω και νοερά σε αυτά τα ωραία βουνά της πατρίδας μας που φαντάζομαι, εαν ήταν αλλού θα τύχαιναν καλύτερης μεταχείρισης.Πολύ ωραία η 'ερωμένη' σου έτσι όπως στητή και καμαρωτή ορθώνει το ανάστημά της και φωνάζει 'κατακτήστε' με.Πολύ ωραία τα χρώματα και το φως.Μπράβο.
