Drakolimni of Gamila
In the verge of the ravine of Aoos in 2.000 m
altitude, you will meet this alpine lake. Its place
is particularly impressive and the landscape you
will admire is unique. It has permanent water
and its particular characteristic is the Alpine
Triton (Triturus alpestris), a rare species of
amphibians that resemble small dragons. These
creatures that live in the cold water of the lake
have contributed in the past to the creation of
legends that speak of the presence of dragons
in the region. You can get to Drakolimni
of Gamila after about a two-hour
walk from Mikro Papigo.

Petro,
fantastic capture of a winter-dressed Drakolimni (Dragon Lake). Sure did reminded me of some great landscape views aspecially to the south from the nearby peak.

Το όρος της Τυμφής έχει την τιμητική της αυτές της μέρες με υπέροχες λήψης όπως αυτή, ωραία τοποθέτηση του κάδρου με τα νερά της λίμνης να φιλοξενούν της αντανακλάσεις του ουρανού κυκλωμένα από χιόνι με της κορυφές στο βάθος να συμπληρώνουν ιδανικά την σύνθεση σου, καλή συνέχεια στις φωτογραφικές και περιηγητικές σου αναζητήσεις

To topio einai mageutiko. Oses fotografies kai na do apo tin perioxi meno me anoixto to stoma.. Einai panemorfa ekei! Kai oso gia tin "eftixia"..ekei pano einai dedomeni! :)
Sigxaritiria kai TFS gia akomi mia fora.
